About

Metal Weight Calculator (MWC) is a free online tool designed for engineers, fabricators, machinists, and metal traders to quickly and accurately estimate the weight of metal stock based on material, shape, and dimensions.

What It Does

Select a material and shape, enter your dimensions in any common unit, and get instant weight results in kilograms, grams, pounds, and ounces. You can also calculate total cost by entering a rate per unit weight.

Over 50 metals and alloys are available, including Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum (multiple grades), Copper, Brass, Bronze, Titanium, Nickel alloys, Gold, Platinum, Tungsten, and many more. Each material uses standard engineering density values.

Accuracy
